Carmen Garcia founded Hudson Staffing with a vision to provide a unique boutique agency experience in the staffing industry. With over 16 years of experience in recruiting for household and executive searches, Carmen ensures that each individual search is personalized for both her clients and candidates.
Education and Early Career: Born and raised in Miami, FL, Carmen graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduation, she dedicated over 6 years to working in education with Miami Dade County Public Schools. This experience laid a strong foundation for her skills in management and interpersonal communication.
Transition to Sales and Recruitment: Carmen then transitioned to a career in sales with The Ritz Carlton Hotel Caribbean Sales Team. In 2009, she moved to New York City to begin her career in recruiting. She quickly made a name for herself and was asked to join one of the largest and most well-known household staffing agencies in New York, where she spent three productive years.
Leadership and Growth: Her expertise and leadership skills were soon recognized by an international startup agency, which hired her to build and manage their US division. As the US Director for over 6 years, Carmen successfully hired and trained recruiters in New York, Los Angeles, and Florida. Under her management, the US division flourished, becoming a significant presence in the United States.
Founding Hudson Staffing: Bringing together all her experience and passion, Carmen founded Hudson Staffing. The agency aims to provide a unique and tailored search for each individual client. Hudson Staffing specializes in searches across the US, focusing on New York, California, and Florida. Additionally, the agency partners with several international recruiting firms to meet overseas staffing needs.
